On April 29th, 2005 Dunny coliced and was rushed to Texas A &M where Emergency Surgery was performed. Due to complications after surgery we regretfully made the decision to put him down.
Dunny was a remarkable horse, an outstanding sire, a joy to ride, not to mention a wonderful companion.
His offspring are making their way to arenas, playdays, shows, and futurities so his legacy will continue to live on.
Dunny's life . . . "Dunny" was sired by Buddys Leavin who unfortunately was never shown due to a hock injury. His sire This Jets Leavin won approx. ($4400) on the track, his sire was the amazing Easy Jet SI 100 ($445,723) won was a Leading Sire in stakes winners, ROM producers who goes back to Jet Deck and Three Bars. Buddys dam was Loni Boone who was sired by Johnny Boone and Go Monie Go. Her pedigree includes the likes of Rebel Cause, Top Deck, Leo, Go Man Go, Joe Reed II, Three Bars.
His dam was Lill Lee by Buckskin Bueno, by Tony Bueno who has 16 cutting points and 1 halter point as well as a Open ROM, and Cattle King Jr Which goes to King P-234.
Dunny has achieved 8 AQHA All Arounds, 1 Reserve All Around, 1 point In Halter, 1 Heading, 3 Heeling in his short career. He possed the desire and athletic ability to excel in a variety of events. We have tried to combine the best of both worlds of speed and cow to comprise a versatile, hard working athlete.
